2011 RSNA Derek Harwood-Nash International Fellowship Application Eligible applicants must have completed formal radiology training and have held a faculty position in an academic institution for no less than 3 and no more than 10 years. Please submit your application before July 1, 2010. The Fellowship period is 6 to 12 weeks.
Candidates must: • be promising international radiology scholars who have completed their radiology training no more than 10 years prior to application; • be embarking on a career in academic radiology (i.e. have held a faculty position for 3 to 10 years); • demonstrate that their specific educational goals can be met most appropriately by a course of study in a North American institution. • specify how the knowledge and experience gained from this fellowship will benefit and improve the practice of radiology in both the home institution and the radiological community; and • be proficient in English
The application form includes a roster of appropriate North American host academic centers where fellows may observe procedures and participate in conferences relating to their areas of special interest. The RSNA will provide a stipend of up to $10,000 toward travel, modest living expenses, and educational materials for the 6- to 12-week fellowship period.
