2009 Certificate of Fellowship of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine information [18kb]
Please note there are significant changes in the examination for 2009 even if you have applied before. Please read.

Certificate of Fellowship of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine: Examples of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) [195kb]

The following are key changes to the Fellowship Examination in Nuclear Medicine:

  1. All those who pass the examination and have their specialization in Nuclear Medicine are given the certificate of Fellowship of the European Board on Nuclear Medicine and have the right to use the letters FEBNM.

  2. Those candidates qualified in non-UEMS countries, who presently hold the Certificate of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine, will be upgraded to full Fellowship as of January 1, 2009. During 2009 new Fellowship certificates will be issued [new design, embossed printing on document paper, official EBNM seal].

  3. Those training in approved training schemes in nuclear medicine leading to specialization in a country which is a full or affiliate member of the UEMS can take to final examination in their final year of study though proof will need to be provided that this is the case.

  4. As CESMA cannot inspect non-UEMS training for candidates outside the UEMS for those with specialization acquired in non-UEMS countries the final part of the Fellowship can only be taken 3 years after specialization.

  5. The examination will take place in Vienna in May 2009 at the EANM Headquarters not at the EANM’09 Annual Congress.
